Cape Breton Highlands is a self-directed Karate club.  Started in November, 1996 as part of the Canadian and International Chito-Ryu Federations, the club went independent of all Chito-Ryu styles in 2009.  

 

Much respect and dedication of our Club and website is held to the art of Chito-Ryu Karate Do, which foremost includes 1st Generation Founder, Dr. Tsuyoshi Chitose, 2nd Generation SOKE Sensei, Yasuhiro Chitose, and Sensei Shane Higashi.
